Intellectual Information vs. Real Knowledge

When seekers start out their spiritual journey, many have a tendency to read a lot of books on the subject, which is quite normal, because we want to learn as much as possible about this new field of life in which we have so much interest. Eventually, as we gain more understanding about the nature of the spiritual work, we are ought to realize that there is a huge difference between that which we read, which is theory, from that which we experience directly.

Dealing With Failing in the Gnostic-Spiritual Work

When a person starts working on themselves spiritually, often time things start out good and there is enthusiasm and joy within new students, and it seems to them that they found something they were looking for a long time. Not only is there enthusiasm and joy, but also as we do the spiritual work we get a lot of help from spiritual non-physical being, and we may also get strength from the group that we are practicing with, whether that be online or in person.

A Powerful Mantra for Clairvoyance and Developing the Heart

A few years ago while studying about something in one of the books of Samael Aun Weor, I discovered an interesting approach and mantra for clairvoyance. Seeing Into the Hieroglyphs in Egyptian Temple of the Crocodile

kom ombo temple esoteric egypt
During my time in Egypt a few years ago, I visited a town called Aswan in the South of the country. That region has several interesting ancient sites, such as Philae, Kom Ombo, Abu Simbel etc. One of the most memorable experience I had in Egypt was when I visited the temple of Kom Ombo, also known as the Crocodile temple. Kom Ombo is situated on a beautiful location by the Nile, and even though it is mostly associated with the crocodile god Sobek, it has parts that are dedicated to some

To Appreciate Oneself

To appreciate oneself, what does this mean? Does it mean to pamper oneself with gifts, , becoming narcissistic, self-considering oneself when people are not treating you the way you would like, or perhaps to feel negative towards them as the way to affirm your pride? With above mentioned things we are not really appreciating ourselves, but rather falling deeper into the pit of the self-loving drives and impulses that will not make our lives more happy, but rather feeling more and more miserable.

“Do not resist evil” in the Light of the Gnostic-Esoteric Teachings

One of the statements that caused pondering in many students of esoteric teachings is “Do not resist evil”. This line is often associated with the teachings of Jesus where he said “Do not resist an evil person”, elaborating upon it by saying that one should love their enemy and the ones that persecute you. In my view he tried to soften the hearts of the people of the time by giving them this exoteric meaning of the teachings. Nevertheless, the teaching “Do not resist evil” goes deeper than
